Assistance Grants
Our assistance grants are available to support families with a child diagnosed with cancer or a brain tumour in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
There are two grants currently available:

Available immediately to all families who meet our eligibility criteria. The amount varies based on factors like distance to hospital and family circumstances.

A one-off grant for families where the child has transitioned from curative to palliative treatment. Designed to provide extra support during this difficult time.

Eligibility Criteria
Our assistance grants are available to families that meet the following criteria:
Location
The child and their immediate family must live in Norfolk, Suffolk or Cambridgeshire
Age
Our grants are for children aged between birth and the day before their 18th birthday
Condition
The child must have the diagnosis of a childhood cancer or brain tumour, or be under investigation with a suspected diagnosis of either of these
The online application form is short but you will need to provide a photo or scan of the following items to verify the information you provide:
- A hospital letter confirming the diagnosis. The name and address of the child MUST be clearly visible on the same letter.
- A utility bill, official / government letter or photo of a driving licence, containing the name and address of the parent or guardian named in the application.
- A photo or scanned image of an official identification document for the parent guardian - e.g. passport or driving licence
