Finnbar’s Christmas Lights

It’s that time of year again…

Our Christmas Wonderland returns for 2025!

We’re bringing festive cheer back to Hethersett, lighting up Park Green for Finnbar once again, and this year we’ve added a few new touches to make the display feel extra magical.

Come and sit in Santa’s illuminated sleigh, pulled by Rudolph himself, and enjoy the sight of the beautifully lit Hethersett Oak, standing proudly in the heart of the village as our whole display sparkles around it.

The lights are best enjoyed on foot, so please don’t drive into the closes. Take a stroll and soak up the atmosphere.

If you’re travelling by car, please park considerately and use nearby car parks where possible. The car park beside Tesco is often busy, so the Memorial Playing Fields car park is a great alternative and only a few minutes’ walk from Park Green (please note it closes at 8pm). Limited parking is available on Park Close, but please be thoughtful of residents and avoid blocking driveways or pavements.

Our Christmas lights will be switched on from Saturday 29 November and will sparkle every evening through to 4 January.

Upcoming Events at the Lights

• 14 December – from 4pm, Carols at 5:30pm
Christmas Carols with mulled wine and mince pies (4pm to 6:30pm)
• Christmas Eve – 4pm to 6:30pm
Mince pies, mulled wine and our very own Santa Tracker

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for details of any additional activities happening throughout December.
