Christmas Lights Switch On

It’s that time of year again….

Our Christmas Wonderland returns for 2025!

Come and join us for the Finnbar’s Force Christmas Light Switch-On event.

The lights will be switched on at around 6pm by our very special guests!

We’ll be out from 5pm with festive food and drinks, music, a few games and of course, the big count down!

So head down to Park Green, enjoy some mulled wine and a mince pie and let’s get the festive season started!

We’ll also be having some very special guests with us to help switch on the lights!

The lights are best enjoyed on foot – there will be absolutely no access to Park Green for vehicles on the night.

Please, please, please….. Walk to Park Green if you are coming from Hethersett, as there will be nowhere to park in the immediate vicinity.

If you are heading over from elsewhere, there are excellent bus services to Hethersett from both Wymondham and Norwich – the best stop is Cromwell Close (Great Melton Road), which is only metres away from the start of the display. On Sundays, bus numbers 11A (Pink Line) & 14A (Green Line) all stop here every 30 mins or so.

If you do need to drive, please park considerately, using car parks in the area – please note, the car park next to Tesco is likely to be very busy – the Memorial Playing Fields car park is probably the best option, a few minutes walk from Park Green.
