How you can get involved...

Raise money for us

We rely on donations to fund our work – many supporters choose to raise money by undertaking sponsored activities, such as sporting events or skydives!

If you would like to raise money for us by taking part in a sponsored event, you can set up a page on our fundraising site at:

Hold an event

Others raise money for us by holding events, like balls and parties. If you’re organising an event and would like to donate the proceeds to us, please get in touch!

We’re also happy to hear from businesses that would be interested in supporting us, for example as a charity of the year, or a one-off event.

Volunteer for us

We're always looking for volunteers to help us run the charity and make our fundraising activities successful.

Volunteers range from support volunteers who help us support families practically and emotionally, to admin volunteers who help with day-to-day running of the charity, to event volunteers who help us at set up and run our large events, such as our Family Adventure Day and our Christmas Lights display.

Volunteering for us can be very rewarding and often a lot of fun too!

Donate to us

We are always delighted to accept donations and you can donate to us in a few ways.

Online giving services

We use JustGiving and Paypal Giving Fund. You can donate via these links:

Donate with JustGiving. Pay with Mastercard, Visa, American Express, PayPal, Bank Transfer, Apple Pay or Direct Debit.

Don't forget to add gift aid to your donation!

Cash & cheques

We are very happy to accept cash and cheques.

Cash and cheques can be sent to the address on our contact page. Please include a covering letter with you name, address and what the event was, as we like to send letters to confirm receipt. We can also do this via email, if you prefer - just let us know in the letter.

We would always recommend using recorded delivery for this.

If the amount of cash is too large to send by post, please contact us by email make arrangements for getting it to us.

Bank transfers

We are are also happy for you to send money to us via bank transfer.

Please contact us via email or via our contact form to let us know and we will send you our bank details. Again, we like you to include your name, address and what the event was, so we can send you a letter to confirm receipt (or email if preferred, just say).
